Many in the romance community already know Brenda Woodbury.  She is the staunch supporter of our authors, and was one of the chairpersons of the 2001 Romance Slam Jam conference held in Ordlando.  She is the creator of the Emma Awards and the Aspired Writers Contest.  Brenda works as a publicist,  Amoung her clients are tow of my favorite authors, Rochelle Alers, and Lorue' Bussey.

Here I am surrounded by my sorors from Zeta Phi Beta.  One of my sisters even brought her husband along.  There were a couple of aspiring writers in the group, another published author besides Vee Garcia and myself, plus a poet.  I meet a lot of talented people at signings.

The lovely lady in the middle is bookstore owner Jackie Perkins.  Montsho Books, on Central Boulevard in Orlando, Florida is one of my favorite places to meet and greet the readers.  Jackie always makes everyone feel right at home.  The vivacious lady on the right is Vee Garcia.  Vee is the author of Whatever it Takes, a romantic mystery set on a southern Florida island.  She's a talented writer who's working on her third novel.
